my name is Max, your Space Weather Man. Come with
me to learn what Space Weather is all about and lots
more. Also, I will be telling you new
stuff each week for the month of November. So keep
checking back with
me to see what is new. Lets get started.
What is
Space Weather? Space Weather describes the
condition in space that affect Earth and its
technological systems. Space Weather is a consequence
of the behavior of the Sun, the nature of Earth
magnetic field and atmosphere, and our location
in the Solar System.
Wow, that sounds very complicated. But it is not as bad as it sounds. I will give you information
every week to help you learn more about Space Weather. Let's start with other sites that you should
visit that tell you more of what the Space Weather is like today. It's just like your local weather
report. Our site has activities that help learn more as well. You should try them.
They are also fun!
