WORLD COUNCIL FOR GIFTED AND TALENTED CHILDREN

August 6, 2005 through August 10, 2005

The purpose of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC) is to focus world attention on gifted and talented children and ensure the realization of their valuable potential to the benefit of humankind. This biennial conference is held in different cities throughout the world. This year the conference is being held in New Orleans. The conference is expecting 1500 participants from over 32 countries. Administrators, government education officials, university faculty, teachers of the gifted, parents of the gifted, and other others involved in educating gifted children.
