IN-SERVICE WORKSHOP 2006

Scientists, engineers and education & public outreach professionals from NASA will conduct the D.C. Regional In-Service workshop for K-12 science and non-science teachers, from the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. The workshops are from a wide variety of educational workshops related to the Sun-Earth connection theme; science, technology, engineering and math. These activities are aligned with the science, math and technology national content standards.
Participants will be able to bring back ‘hands on’ activities that they can incorporate in their classrooms immediately. In addition, they will bring back SEC resources that can help supplement what is already being done in the classroom. |
