IN-SERVICE WORKSHOP 2006

Springfield Professional Development Center – Springfield, Massachusetts
NASA engineers, education and public outreach professionals and NASA Professors from Star Partner’s universities will conduct the Springfield Regional In-Service workshop for K-12 science and non-science teachers, from the Western Massachusetts area. The workshops are from a wide variety of educational sessions related to the Sun-Earth connection theme; science, technology, engineering and math. These activities are aligned with the science, math and technology national content standards.
Participants will be able to bring back ‘hands on’ activities that they can incorporate in their classrooms immediately. In addition, they will bring back SEC resources that can help supplement what is already being done in the classroom. |
